I began my personal journey of improved health in 2001 at 390 pounds. With the power of belief, dedication, support, and education, I was blessed to lose 150 unwanted pounds and keep it off for the past 16+ years. In 2009, I made another significant life-changing decision to become a personal trainer and effectively share with others what I’ve learned regarding losing weight, building muscle, and living a physically active lifestyle.
Today I am the owner and lead trainer at MPower Fitness in Eagan MN. Working as a personal trainer and helping others achieve their goals has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I developed the MPower Fitness Program to effectively help as many people as I can achieve success with their health and fitness through exercise and nutrition education, accountability, and behavior modification strategies. My training philosophy - cultivated through years of experience coaching and motivating others for success - incorporates fitness principles I have experienced.
